Adobe Connect Web Conference
Communicate your ideas powerfully using Adobe® Connect™ web conferencing software. Securely share presentations and multimedia right from your desktop and get feedback from hundreds of participants — all using a web browser and the Adobe Flash® Player runtime, already installed on more than 98% of Internet-connected personal computers.
The advantage to using Adobe Connect, as opposed to other web conferencing products is it is a Flash-based service; this means no download is needed to join the meeting.
The Adobe Connect Web Conference suite includes three modules:
- Adobe Connect Meetings
- Adobe Connect Webinars
- Adobe Connect Learning
Adobe Connect Meetings
Use for Web Meetings. This module enables you to significantly improve collaboration, both inside and outside your organization’s firewalls. Use Adobe Connect for a full range of online meeting needs, from simple screen sharing all the way to mission-critical, real-time collaboration.
Each user can have their own personalized digital meeting room with a custom URL to share. All of their presentation materials are neatly stored and readily accessible in their digital meeting rooms. With just a click or tap, whether on a computer or mobile device, you can instantly hold a web-based video conference and have all of your materials within easy reach.
Adobe Connect web meetings can accommodate up to 100 participants at once, making this an excellent choice for both one-on-one web-based meetings or large group meetings alike.
Adobe Connect Webinars
Use for Webinars. This Adobe Connect module enables organizations to increase attendance, boost response rates, and generate more interest through rich and engaging, highly interactive, and effective online events.
The webinar module includes tools for managing registration including a customizable registration form, templates, customizable landing page, branded webinar URLs, and a series of emails to confirm and remind attendees of the upcoming webinar. If you need to send one-off emails to your webinar registrants, you can do that too.
Built-in analytics are included so you can easily analyze each webinar’s performance and attendee engagement.
Adobe Connect Webinars can accommodate up to 1500 attendees in a shared webinar room.
Adobe Connect Learning
Use for eLearning. This module provides novices and experts alike with the capabilities needed to easily create and deliver compelling on-demand courses, conduct highly interactive virtual classes, and efficiently manage training programs.
While many businesses use web conferencing for training purposes, having a dedicated module specifically for eLearning sets Adobe Connect apart from other web conferencing tools. Not only can you use Adobe Connect for meetings and webinars, you can create a classroom environment with live and persistent virtual training classes.
